Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-08-12
These terms govern your use of Frametic, a service that captures websites you specify and renders cinematic video recordings and images of them via a dashboard and an API. By creating an account or using an API key, you agree to them. Frametic loads a URL you provide in a headless browser, takes captures of it (optionally in multiple theme variants), composes them in a 3D scene according to your settings, and renders the result to video and image files you can download or fetch via API. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with the operators of the websites you capture. You must be at least 16 years old to use Frametic. You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep keys secret; revoke any key you believe is compromised. You must provide accurate account information. You agree not to use Frametic to:
  • capture websites you have no right to record — you must own the site, have the operator's permission, or be making a use permitted by law;
  • produce recordings that are unlawful, deceptive, or that infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of others;
  • attempt to reach private networks, internal services, or infrastructure metadata through the capture system;
  • capture pages behind authentication using credentials you are not authorized to use;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. You retain all rights to your render configurations and to the videos and images Frametic produces for you, to the extent of your rights in the captured material. You grant us only the limited license needed to capture, process, render, store, and deliver that content to you. You are solely responsible for the websites you choose to capture and for your use of the output — including whether that use requires permission from the website's owner. Capturing depends on the availability and behavior of the websites you specify, which we do not control. Sites may block automated browsers, render differently in them, or change between captures. Frametic is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that any site can be captured, or that a render will complete within a particular time. Frametic is free during early access. When paid plans launch, they will be billed by Stripe, monthly or annually in advance, with usage metered per render. Plan limits, current prices, and any changes will be shown before you subscribe. Prices exclude VAT and other applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required. If a payment fails we may retry it and, after reasonable notice, suspend rendering on the account. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and the account reverts to the free tier. Subscription fees are refundable within 14 days of a first purchase where mandatory consumer law gives you that right; renders already delivered are not refundable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frametic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or EUR 100 where the service was provided free of charge. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for deletion). We may suspend or terminate the service or your access with reasonable notice, or immediately for material breach of these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally. We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. support@dopler.app
